The Longest Short Week Ever

This week has been pretty crazy and I'm not completely sure if it felt super long or super short, it was way interesting. We had zone conferences and we went to all 3 of them. They were each about 7 hours. The exciting part is everyone got their smartphones, the WA-TAC is officially a technology mission! Everyone is really excited and I know that it will hasten the work if we know how to best use it. We had the "opportunity" to give trainings on the area book planner app on the phones which was pretty fun.

We went on exchanges with Elders Williams and Pabalinas and that was a whole lot of fun! We worked hard and at the end of the day we got into some indoor apartment complexes and knocked them because they've probably never been knocked, they were hard to get into. We found some new investigators though and it was way sick! At the end of the day I felt way sick and I woke up the next morning just feeling like absolute trash so Elder Jackson and I stayed in a good majority of the day Saturday and I gotta say it was awful. The only thing that makes a mission enjoyable is work. It sucked staying in especially on a Saturday, THE BEST DAY FOR KNOCKIN DOORS!!! I felt decent enough to go knock at the end of the day and my mood instantly changed.

Birthday Wish Came True

Hey everyone!

This week was great as always! Elder J and I have just been doing a whole lot of knocking! 

On Saturday Elder and Sister G gave Elder J and I a ride to Olympia because one of the investigators I had out there wanted me to come and be the one to baptize him! Do y'all remember the birthday miracle that happened? IT WAS HIM! A was baptized and he is so happy to be a member of the church. It's so great to see the change that has taken place in his life! 

We have zone conferences this week so Elder J and I get to go to all of them and give training on the smartphones! The whole mission will be getting their phones so its exciting.

Hey everyone!

This week has been totally awesome!! Wednesday was transfers and since I became an office elder I got my smartphone early! It's been way sick to use it to hasten the work of the Lord, it's amazing what you can get done when you use it right! Elder J is a way awesome guy and it's gonna be a great time with him I can already tell! We get to drive a Chevy Silverado truck with no limit on miles, it's sick!

Elder J and I got to give a training at MLC on the smartphones because all the missionaries in the MLC got their phones then. It's cool to be able to say I've given a training at MLC but it was on something that everyone could figure out pretty easily haha. 

I will be using Facebook and I've already been able to use it to keep in contact with an investigator from my last area and a recent convert out in Morton. 

It's way nice to be back in the central conference in Tacoma, there's a lot of doors to knock! There's not a whole lot of investigators right now but Elder Jackson and I will change that real quick! 

I get to spend a lot of time with the APs and President Leishman and see a lot of the behind the scenes stuff and it's been a whole lot of fun! We don't spend much time in the office, we are essentially normal missionaries with added responsibilities. I love it!!!

Office Elder in Tacoma

Hey everyone!

I'm being transferred this Wednesday! I'm going up to Tacoma to be an Office Elder! I will still have an area to work in called Commencement Bay but I will be doing some office work and setting up for meetings and whatnot. My new companion will be Elder J! I don't know much about him but he seems like a cool guy! I'm looking forward to it! 

General Conference was SO AMAZING! I hope you all got the opportunity to watch it and if not that you will read the talks as they come out!
