9 to 9

Hey everyone!

This week was pretty dang awesome! On Tuesday, the AP's grandparents who live in the mission took some of us missionaries out to a nice meal at this place called WildFin. It was wayyy good food and it was a whole lot of fun! Elder Budge's grandparents were awesome people!

We knocked a mission wide 9 to 9 on Friday which means the whole mission started knocking at 9 AM and stopped at 9 PM. We switched areas and companions as a zone, I knocked in the AP's area (Soundview) with Elder Mose! He's on his 2nd transfer so it was fun teaching him some stuff, he's a good dude from America Samoa. We stopped for like 15 minutes to get a 4 for 4 at Wendy's AT 4! We thought it would be funny to get a 4 for 4 at 4 as a zone during the 9 to 9. We even did this scavenger hunt bingo thing where we had to find/do things all day and that kept it way entertaining.

We had an interesting experience... We had an investigator that wanted to come to church so she told us to come knock on her door and remind her like 30 minutes before (She lives right next to the church). So we did and she told us she would be coming, then she said "I have to be real honest with you, I'm high on meth right now. Well I'll see you at church!" So we freaked out and told the 1st Counselor of the bishopric who was presiding and he said "Well this isn't from the handbook but, it's better to have her here on meth than not here on meth." She showed up and everything went great! She had a great experience and she's working towards being baptized! She may sound sketchy but she's truly way sincere.

¶ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidingsthat publisheth peacethat bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto ZionThy God reigneth!

I came across this scripture earlier this week and I just love it. I think about the Lord sitting on an almighty throne with his feet resting on the mountains.

I love you all!!! Have a great week!

Car Crash

Hey everyone!

This week was pretty awesome! We had the Zion's Camp zone conferences which means we get to go up to a church owned land to do some outdoor activities and it was a whole lot of fun!

Earlier this week the APs texted us and said they drove by a small apartment building that they felt very impressed that someone we could baptize was in there so we should knock it. Not a lot of people answered, but the second to last door opened with a gun pointed at us. Once he saw who we were, he laughed and apologized. Turns out he's way interested and we put him on date to be baptized! He has some hold backs so we will see what happens with him.

So we did get into a car crash this morning. We were driving on a main road and this guy zoomed out of a parking lot almost t boning the guy in front of us who stopped, but we didnt have time to stop so we went right into the back of him. He hurt his neck but we were just fine. It was crazy!

I love you all!

"Another Week in Tacoma"

Hey everyone!

Not a lot happened this week, we knocked and did some Office Elder stuff.

We visited a less active member and he was really cool. He lives on the 14th floor of a downtown apartment with a view of the sound. He was recently divorced, so he's kinda down.  I guess we're just some friends to him. He has a way cute support dog that's still just a puppy. I'm  sending a picture of it.

We gave a nonmember wife a blessing for her health issues and she is all better already! She has such a strong testimony just some other stuff is holding her back from being baptized. It strengthened my testimony and gratitude of the priesthood. What a blessing it is to hold the same power Christ had.

I love you all have a great week!
